If you're looking for a fall related activity to do with the kids this weekend and you don't mind taking a little drive, head over to Ramirez Pecan Farm in Clint for an afternoon of Halloween pumpkin decorating.

This Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 19-20, the family-owned, family-run pecan farm will be the place to be for aspiring artists of all ages who want to hand paint and festively decorate gourds.

They'll be selling pumpkins from a local farmer "at a reasonable price" and painting kits to decorate your pumpkins with for a small fee, according to the event post.

After everyone gets done getting into the spirit of the Halloween season, let them burn off some of the energy they seem to have an abundance of playing games like checkers and Jenga, and taking part in some free activities they'll have set up around the orchard.
