Popular All Female Mariachi ‘Flor De Toloache’ To Play In El Paso
The award-winning all-female mariachi group, Flor de Toloache, will perform in El Paso this fall.
Latin Grammy winners, Flor De Toloache have extended their North American tour to include dates in Arizona, New Mexico, California, and Texas, which includes El Paso.
The all-female powerhouse Mariachi group will perform in town this fall, adding to El Paso's ever-growing concert list for 2022.
Hailing from New York City, Flor de Toloache's is not your typical Mariachi group, performing in English and Spanish. Their edgy and innovative approach to traditional Latin American music has not only broken boundaries for the group but has also opened new opportunities to work with famed artists such as R&B singer Miguel and have even performed at the White House and NPR's Tiny Desk Concert.
In 2008, Mireya I. Ramos and Shae Fiol established the Marichi group, and in 2017, Las Flores won their first Latin Grammy for their second studio album Las Caras Lindas.
Two years later they were nominated for a Grammy for "Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album" for their third studio album, featuring collaborations with artists including Camilo Lara, Alex Cuba and John Legend singing along in Spanish.
Flor De Toloache has toured extensively worldwide, from Mexico to Japan. And come October, New York's first and only all-female Mariachi group will take the stage in El Paso, performing at the all-new Lowbrow Palace venue.
