Let's do the Time Warp again!

The Plaza Classic Film Festival would not be complete without an outdoor showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

This year's annual screening -- a part of the Plaza Outdoor series -- is this Saturday, August 5, at 9 p.m. at the intersection of Mills and Oregon Street, just down the street from the Plaza Theatre. As is customary at any screening of the cult classic, costumes, props and loud singing is not just welcomed, it's encouraged.

A Fungi Mungle concert will precede the movie screening beginning at 7:30 p.m. Both the movie and the concert are free.

The musical salute to sci-fi, horror, B-movies and rock music stars Tim Curry, Barry Bostwick, Susan Sarandon and singer Meat Loaf. The Rocky Horror Picture Show still holds the record for the longest theatrical run, never having been out of some form of limited release since its premiere in 1975.
