Beto O'Rourke Rally 2019

On March 30th, Beto O'Rourke held his first 2019 Presidential rally in Downtown El Paso. The stage was set on the corner of Overland and El Paso, where many El Pasoans and others from out of town gathered to support O'Rourke's decision to run for President. Congresswoman Veronica Escobar showed up at the rally to show her support and really help ignite that fire for change. The 2020 presidential race is packed with many Democrats looking to be the change America wants and needs.

O'Rourke is looking to win the Democratic nomination but is up against some big-name Democrats like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warner, plus Joe Biden still leads in the poll for the Democratic nominee. After this rally, I am convinced O'Rourke has an even bigger fire burning in him to be the representative Americans can believe in.

Mixed reviews on O'Rourke will continue through this campaign and both Beto and his wife, Amy O'Rourke pointed out in their speeches at the rally that this was a family decision to run for the presidency. As the race heats up, El Pasoans will get to cheer on the homeboy Beto until the big election day.
