New Retail Centers Opening in Far East El Paso

North Hills Crossing Center to open in June with a new series of shopping centers opening by the end of 2015.

A $200 million five-year investment plan by River Oaks Properties will be unveiling phase one with the opening of a new Wal-Mart in Northeast El Paso. The other shopping centers are all scheduled to open in the second half of 2015, they are:

• Las Tiendas located at Zaragoza and Edgemere
• Shops at Tierra Este, located at Tierra Este and Montana
• Tierra Del Norte located at Tierra Este and Zaragoza
• Home Depot anchored Shopping Center located at Zaragoza and Montwood

River Oaks will also be welcoming other new retailers and restaurants including:

• Gander Mountain, an outdoor recreation outlet that is slated to open on May 27, 2015
• Two Petco locations
• Ross
• Marshalls
• Big Lots
• Rue 21
• Rack Room Shoes
• Dollar Tree
• Crave
• Jimmy John’s
• Whataburger
• Popeye’s
• Menchies
• Koze
• Café Italia

These new shopping centers will generate over 1500 jobs in retail and construction.
