If you are wanting to avoid an unplanned pregnancy, the City of El Paso Department of Public Health wants to help out with an affordable, safe and effective permanent solution. That's right, you can get a vasectomy from the City of El Paso.

City-offered vasectomies are a component of services offered by the DPH’s CommUnity Care Center, at 5115 El Paso Drive. The vasectomies are being offered through the Comprehensive Title X Family Planning and Sexual Health services made possible by the U.S. Health and Human Services/ Office of Population Affairs.

The vasectomies aren't free, and the Department of Public Health accepts cash, checks and major credit cards for the service based on your individual care plan. They are also accepting Medicaid and some private insurances. If you are part of a household income at or below 250 percent of the current Federal Poverty Level you can apply for a discount, but the good news is the vasectomies won't be denied based on your inability to pay.

You will need a valid form of identification for the vasectomy services. You will have to do an initial evaluation to determine if you are a candidate for the procedure. You can make an appointment online at the City’s Q-Less link. If you need more information about Vasectomy Services, call (915) 212-6731.

Maybe this is the perfect Christmas present for yourself or someone you love but someone who doesn't want to have kids anymore. You never know. Check it out before it's too late. Click here for all the information.
