Musician Al Jarreau Dies at 76

The jazz musician, Al Jarreau has died at the age of 76.

The multi Grammy award winner passed away this morning in the hospital surrounded by friends and family.

A statement on Jarreau’s Twiiter account read: "It is with the deepest of sadness to inform you Al Jarreau passed away this morning, at about 6:00am LA time."

The singer who tallies up more than twenty albums had just retired from touring and had previously been hospitalized due to exhaustion. Al Jarreau is survived by his wife and son. At this time they have not released the exact cause of his death.
