Monster Jam, Bad Bunny & Other Must See Shows Coming to UTEP in 2022
They're loud, they're huge, and they're coming back to El Paso in March.
Like the almost weekly walls of dust that roll through every spring, Monster Jam will return to El Paso to celebrate its 30th anniversary in the Sun City. The monster truck show is just one of the entertainment events being put on by University of Texas El Paso Special Events in the first quarter of 2022.
Monster Jam, Bad Bunny, and Rage Against the Machine
Twelve of the most popular Monster Jam monster trucks will take over Sun Bowl Stadium on Saturday and Sunday, March 5-6, 2022, for several hours of absolutely insane displays of gravity-defying feats.
According to the Monster Jam website the list of high-flying, car crushing trucks scheduled to smash through obstacles, and rip s**t up includes El Paso favorites El Toro Loco, Grave Digger and its teammate Son-uva Digger, Monster Mutt and 8 others.
The heavy metal machines on massive wheels aren't the only ones that will be bouncing around at UTEP. Bad Bunny is also among the handful of events being presented at the Don Haskins Center between February and the end of March.
This spring El Paso finally gets to rage against the machine with Rage Against the Machine.
The alternative rock band was scheduled to perform in March of 2020 but had to postpone their tour to 2021 due to the coronavirus. But as luck -- and the pandemic -- would have it, the rescheduled dates were postponed yet again; this time to 2022. Well, guess what year we're in now?
Throw the devil horns up in the air, baby, because this is the year it's finally happening.
