Mike’s the Stupid News: Woman Calls 911 Repeatedly to Thank Sheriff for Sandwich

I like me a bologna sandwich just as much as the next guy, but evidently not as much as Christine Brown. The 51-year-old Florida woman is facing charges after repeatedly calling 911 to thank jail officials for a bologna sandwich she was given while locked up.

Palm Bay police said Brown called 911 six times!  Each time she called, dispatchers asked Brown if she had an emergency, but she allegedly wanted to do was rave about the sammich. In fact, she was on the line with a dispatcher talking about the sammy when an officer arrived at her home.

Lucky for her, she got to enjoy a bologna sandwich again because she was charged with six felony counts of misuse of 911 and booked into the Brevard County Jail Complex.
