The El Paso Health Department and the El Paso Fire Department are teaming up once again for the May clinics of “Vaccinations for Health”.

The flu season is still lingering and if you haven’t received your flu shot you may want to take advantage of the “Vaccinations for Health” program which provides vaccinations and basic health screenings for El Pasoans ages 18 and above who don’t have private medical insurance.
The services are completely free to residents of El Paso and Hudspeth County who are 18 and over and do not have medical insurance or are on Medicaid. The free services include: free blood pressure and glucose screenings, colorectal screening kits, including influenza and pneumonia vaccines.

The May clinics are as follows:

  • Saturday May 7: Go Purple Health Fair at Bassett Place, 6101 Gateway West, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
  • Thursday May 12: Station 32, 101 George Perry Blvd., 8 a.m. -10 a.m.
  • Tuesday May 24: Station 31, 122 Mesa Park Dr., 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

El Paso Fire Department is encouraging residents who meet these guidelines to take advantage of the three clinics. For more information, citizens are encouraged to call 311 or visit ephealth.com.
