Blood sugar, cholesterol, and hearing and vision screenings are among the free health services the Lower Valley School Nurses Association will be offering at the 37th Annual Lower Valley Health Fair.

The roundup of health professionals will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Americas High School, 12101 Pellicano Dr.

Numerous agencies will be providing children and adults a myriad of services. Among the free screenings available are dental screening, pap smears, blood sugar and blood pressure testing, cholesterol, and hearing and vision screenings as well as a host of other health related services and information according to a post on the district website.

In addition, immunizations for children up to 16 years will also be available for a $10 fee, however, no one will be denied services if unable to pay. Parents must bring their child’s immunization record if they wish to have this service done.

The 37th Annual Lower Valley Health Fair is free and open to anyone and everyone regardless of which school district their children attend.
