Google is attempting to make it easier for people to quickly find where they can get a COVID vaccine in their city along with basic information such as if an appointment or referral is required.

While there are a variety of ways to search for information on Google, typing in “COVID vaccine El Paso” will quickly provide a list and map of where it may be possible to get vaccinated at the moment.  In addition, it’ll also populate a link directing people to the COVID FAQ’s page for texas.gov

Successfully signing up to get either the Moderna or Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines has become a priority for medical frontline workers, first responders, or individuals considered to be in high-risk groups due to age or having a chronic health condition.  Hopefully, this search engine functionality will assist in those instances where a person has not had any luck with whichever vaccine sign-up method they’re currently trying.

An example of what I was able to see when I tested out the search is below.

Of course, this is Google we’re talking about so this search will provide similar results for any city that is searched for so if you have friends and family in other parts of the country, feel free to pass this information along.

When I tested the search for any results in Juarez, it didn’t provide a list or map of clinics but did point towards some articles that may prove helpful.
