Local Actors Wanted for Upcoming Film

Bored Film Studios and iShape Productions are casting a call for local actors for an upcoming short film here in El Paso, TX.

Swimming With The Fishes is an upcoming short film by Patrick Sanchez that involves a mobster who reunites with an old friend until a division over the woman they both see as their escape culminates in violence.

Bored Film Studios will be casting for two male roles for Buddy and Harry and one female role for Lisa:

Male: Buddy is a calm and well-mannered man in his late 20s to early 30s with short hair. He’s not the “nice guy” but the “good guy” and that means he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty when he has to. At this point in his life, he’s been off the streets as a thug for a few years and is returning to the place where it all began to ask his best friend to be his best man.
Male: Harry is in his 30s and is shorter than normal with sort of unkempt hair He’s been around the block. He’s a man who’s never shied away from the tough life as a mobster. He’s been on the streets his whole life and will probably die in them because to him that’s the most honorable way to go out.
Female: Lisa is in her late 20s and has long hair and has a very slender figure. She has always done what she wanted to do and nothing else. She ran away from home at an early age and grew up on the streets. When she got older, she became a sex worker and then went into a safer stripping life. After realizing she wanted more from life than pleasing men, she left the city and moved upstate.

Interested actors must bring a short 1-2 minute monologue of their choosing to the interview.
