Live PD El Paso Police Officer Andrea Zendejas In Car During DUI

Aw, hell.

El Paso Police officer, Andrea Zendejas, the Bun of Justice, Live PD breakout star, was the passenger in a vehicle that was being driven by another EPPD officer this weekend when it got into an accident. Unfortunately, the driver, 38 year old Thomas Sneed was allegedly driving drunk.

Sneed was arrested around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday March 9, on the 2300 block of Piedras in Central El Paso. A police department news release said Sneed was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck north on Piedras when it hit a parked vehicle. There were two men in the vehicle that Sneed ran into but they were not injured.

Andrea Zendejas suffered minor injuries but was injured enough to have to be taken to the hospital. According to an EPPD press release, officers on the scene determined that Sneed was allegedly intoxicated and he was placed under arrest. He was ed booked into the El Paso County Jail.

Sneed has been on the El Paso Police force for two and a half years, and ironically, was assigned to the department's DWI Taskforce on a temporary rotation earlier this year. As per protocol, Sneed has been placed on administrative leave while an investigation is conducted.

There is no word on the condition of Zendejas or if she will be facing any repercussions in connection with this incident.
