Join El Paso Parks & Rec For A Virtual “16 de Septiembre” Celebration

Everyone is invited to watch online for free beginning this Friday, September 11, 2020.

Coming off a successful Virtual Summer Concert Series that included a tribute to the late Juan Gabriel, the city’s Parks and Recreation Department is back with a great lineup that includes a 16 de Septiembre celebration.

Among the local bands featured – this year the Virtual Concert Series will also include a special extended concert celebration for the Mexican Independence holiday, 16 de Septiembre.

The Parks and Recreation Department Virtual Summer Concert Series Schedule:

September 11, 2020

• Siluetas Band
• 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

September 16, 2020

• 16 de Septiembre Celebration - Featuring Mariachi Alegre, Ballet Folklorico Quetzales, Ballet Folklorico Orgullo De Mi Tierra, Siluetas Band
• 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

September 18, 2020

• Brandon Johnson and Family
• 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

September 25, 2020

• Ballet Folklorico, Paso del Norte Churuhui
• 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Just like many other event organizers, El Paso’s Parks and Recreation Department is going virtual by revamping its summer concert series online as it adapts to the ongoing pandemic.

The Virtual Summer Concert Series is broadcasted live via the El Paso Parks and Recreation Facebook Page beginning at 8 p.m., every Friday night for the remainder of August.
