Cheval Shepherd so far is the only winner from New Mexico on The Voice
The Farmington, New Mexico native, Cheval Shepherd, joined The Voice after singing "If I Die Young" by The Band Perry and got a 3 chair turn.
Cheval was able to make it all the way to the Finale while performing songs from The Judds (Rockin' With the Rhythm of the Rain), Tanya Tucker's "It's a Little Too Late" and even performed an original song called "Broken Hearts".
She won Season 15, becoming the first country singer to NOT be on Blake Shelton's team.
