R.I.P – WHITNEY HOUSTON: As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, the world lost one of the greatest singing voices in the history of popular music over the weekend with the sudden passing of WHITNEY HOUSTON.

An autopsy was performed Sunday, but the cause of death won't be announced until the results of a toxicology report are in -- which normally takes four to six weeks. Sedatives, anti-anxiety pills and sleep aids were found in her room, according to ABC News. TMZ reports that she was found in a bathtub, and raised the possibility that she may have fallen asleep and drowned. Sources told the gossip site Whitney was discovered in the bathtub with her face underwater and her legs up, as if she had slid down while sitting back in the tub.

A stylist, a hairdresser and two bodyguards were in Whitney's room at the time.  Word is they became concerned after realizing Whitney had been in the bathroom for over an hour. After knocking but getting no reply, the hairdresser went in and found her in the tub.  One of the bodyguards attempted CPR, but it was already too late.

ARE SEDATIVES TO BLAME?: There's early speculation that Whitney overly-sedated herself by mixing alcohol with sedatives and drowned. TMZ claims police found the sedatives Lorazepam, Valium and some kind of sleep medication in Whitney's room, but that there wasn’t any evidence of illegal drugs. Other sources say Whitney was drinking pretty heavily on Friday, the night before her death.  So far, we haven't heard whether she was drinking on Saturday.

WHITNEY’S LAST PERFORMANCE: A fan took an amateur video of what many are calling Whitney's last performance on Thursday night in L.A., although it wasn't really a performance, per se. Whitney hit up a Grammy party thrown by Gospel singer KELLY PRICE, and jumped onstage with her to sing a little bit of "Jesus Loves Me". The audio quality isn’t all that good, but it’s good enough to tell Whitney's voice was about as good as it's been the last few years, which means not too good.

DID WHITNEY THROW DOWN WITH AN X-FACTOR CONTESTANT???: Radar Online is reporting that Houston hit up Kelly Price’s Grammy party Thursday night with her supposed boyfriend RAY J, and that she was pounding tequila hard.  The site claims Whitney appeared disheveled and "out of it", and that at one point saw Ray talking to 42-year-old "X Factor" contestant STACY FRANCIS, and according to their source, "ran over to them and began screaming, 'This is my man!  I'm a cougar!  [B-word], get away from my man.'"

BOBBY BROWN LEAVES NEW EDITION TOUR – BOBBI CHRISTINA RUSHED TO HOSPITAL: During last night’s Grammy Awards telecast, Whitney was remembered for her accomplishments in music, but of course, there are those who'll only remember Whitney as one half of the most dysfunctional pop duo of all time, along with BOBBY BROWN. The two were married from 1992 to 2007, and Brown is often blamed for Whitney's descent into drug addiction.

Brown, performed in Mississippi with New Edition only hours after learning the news. He told the audience in Southaven, "First of all, I want to tell you that I love you all. Second, I would like to say, I love you Whitney. The hardest thing for me to do is to come on this stage." Partway through the show, though, he was overcome and left the stage. He cancelled his next few dates and headed to L.A. to be with his and Whitney's daughter Bobbi Christina.

Sunday morning, medics were called back to the hotel and rushed Bobbi Christina to Cedars-Sinai Hospital for an apparent anxiety attack. According to TMZ, she'd also visited the ER Saturday night, but had arrived there on her own. She was released later on Sunday. Also according to TMZ, family members fear she may be suicidal. Bobbi is said to be “hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable” and not dealing well, at all. She even had a blow out with the authorities last night when they would not let her see Houston’s body.

WATCH – JENNIFER HUDSON’S GRAMMY AWARDS TRIBUTE: Though the Grammy Awards show proceeded generally as planned, virtually every performer mentioned Whitney's memory, but the night's big moment was Jennifer Hudson's rendition of "I Will Always Love You"
