Hidden El Paso Gem: Elmer’s Restaurant
Darren and I took a trip back in time and grabbed a bite at iconic central El Paso restaurant, Elmer's. Elmer's has been at the same Montana location since 1962. 1962! That's even older than me!
My grandfather used to take us to Elmer's all the time when I was a kid. Their grilled cheese sandwiches and fried chicken were the stuff dreams are made of, and things haven't changed. Fried chicken at Elmer's is religious experience. Having it at an old-school diner that has what looks like it's original Formica bar top and light fixtures, is something that can't be missed.
If you're looking for a place to listen to non-stop oldies while hanging out at an iconic El Paso restaurant that has been cranking out delicious diner food since before you were born, check out Elmer's.
