Get Your Flu Shot Now Before Supplies Run Out
Flu season starts in late September and goes all the way to March, and even though a flu shot might not prevent you from getting the flu virus, doctors still urge people to get one. Kids and elderly people, along with those with a fragile immune system should get a flu shot, but this year, the supply of flu shots may be limited.
MedImmune said that they are having problems with their production, and it means delayed shipment of Flu-mist nasal spray. Pediatricians in some states have already run out of the vaccine. Officials with Immunize El Paso say they still have the flu-mist vaccine, but their supply is becoming very limited.
It's not known if the delay will affect El Paso, but if you want to get a flu shot, you probably should get one sooner rather than later.
