Get Ready to Save Some Daylight

Here's your timely reminder from your Uncle Mikey that Daylight Saving Time goes into effect Sunday at 2am. And yes, it’s ‘saving’ and not ‘savings'. And while I'm at it, it's 'Airway' and not 'Airways'. But I digress.

Because this twice-yearly tradition still confuses the crap out of some, I will also remind you of the catchy slogan, "Spring Forward, Fall Back." That means that because it's almost Spring, you turn your clocks ahead one hour before hitting the sack on Saturday night, or upon awakening on Sunday morning and realizing you missed something an hour ago.

Oh, hey, and while your changing all your clocks around the house, Fire Marshals all recommend you take the opportunity to change out the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors too.
