If you have no plans this weekend and you’re looking for something unique and thrilling to do then the place to be is at The El Paso Roller Derby’s season opener!

The fast-paced, high-energy sport has been gaining popularity across the country in recent years, and El Paso's team is no exception!

I’ve been to a few roller derby matches myself and the thrill and excitement you experience watching these tough women in action is something that you can not watch anywhere else!

The season opener will feature two bouts (games) and will also feature half time entertainment including the amazing Young Women's STEAM Prep Academy Drum-line.
Fans can also enjoy food trucks AND it gets better.... all games this season are BYOB! (For the over 21 crowd).
"As a non-profit, we rely on the profit from our games to help us keep running,” said EPRD officials. "But, we also strive to help our community by donating a percentage of those profits to local nonprofits.” This match will benefit CASA of El Paso.
