In the past few years, Khalid has lit up the music world with his amazing talent and taken El Paso along for the ride. Every chance he gets, Khalid makes sure to give a shout out to the Sun City in his music, when he is receiving an award, or when he is doing an interview.

Khalid comes by his musical talent from his mom, Linda Wolfe who served her country in the Army. Linda was a member of the Army chorus and when she was stationed in Fort Bliss, Khalid went to Americas High School. He studied singing and musical theater, and now he and Linda want to help El Paso high schoolers get their education with a performing arts scholarship.
