Free Summer Events Continue This Weekend in El Paso

Summer is still going strong and so are the many family-friendly and free activities that continue this weekend in El Paso.

As school is preparing to start next week, the City of El Paso is doing its part to improve the community’s quality of life with the following fun events scheduled for this weekend:

SATURDAY, AUG. 22, 2015

• Downtown Art and Farmers Market
• Featuring local craft and produce vendors
• 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Anthony Street in the Union Plaza District,, Downtown El Paso

• Archery and Atl-Atl demonstration
• Weekly program allows participants to shoot arrows and atl-atls while being guided by certified archery marshals
• 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the El Paso Museum of Archaeology at 4301 Transmountain Road

• Voice and Piano Recital
