Free Meet & Greet Cirque Du Soleil Pop Up In Downtown El Paso

Meet and greet one of the stellar characters from Cirque Du Soleil's upcoming OVO presentation on Tuesday, August 23, in downtown El Paso.

Cirque Du Soleil's OVO returns to the Sun City with new acts this fall, with six performances in September at the Don Haskins Center.

Before then, one of the cast members will be making a live pop-up appearance in downtown El Paso in front of the iconic "Ánimo Sin Fronteras" (Spirit without Borders) mural painted by Street Art muralist @mac_arte.

Fans will have a chance to meet Kyle Cragle, who portrays a dragonfly in the show performing defying hand balancing acts.

Hailing out of Houston, Texas, Cragle joined competitive gymnastics at seven years old and decided he would one day join the circus. By age 15, thanks to his extreme flexibility, he landed at the National Circus School’s high school program in Montréal. Soon after, he discovered his love for handstands and began studying full-time as a hand balancing contortionist artist.

A few days after finishing circus school in 2016, Cragle signed his first contract to join the OVO crew fulfilling his heart's desire to travel the world as a professional circus artist with Cirque du Soleil.

Cirque Du Soleil is a family-friendly and, at times, hilarious show with vivid performances that will take your breath away as stunning acrobats bounce off trampolines and hang suspended while performing gravity-defying high-energy acts throughout the show.

Cirque Du Soleil's OVO will fuel the imagination and take the viewer into a world full of wonder and fun into the day in the life of insects with its colorful set and detailed costumes.

Enjoy a preview of the show when Kyle Cragle heads downtown on Tuesday with a special meet and greet for El Paso fans.
