Income tax season is here and no one is celebrating. Doing your taxes is not only painful sometimes, it is also a huge pain in the neck. If you can't stand doing your taxes, or you just need some help navigating that mess, the AARP Foundation is helping out with free income tax preparation for low to moderate-income people throughout tax season.

The foundation will be holding clinics at various Parks and Recreation Centers starting February 3 and going all the way through April 15, which is the last day you can file your taxes. Anyone can use the service and you do not need to be an AARP member to take advantage of the help. Each tax return usually takes volunteer tax preparers about half an hour to complete. If you would like to call in advance to set up an appointment you can do that.
