The El Paso Health Department and the El Paso Fire Department are teaming up once again for the last two “Vaccinations for Health” clinics in December.

The program, "Vaccinations for Health," provides vaccinations and basic health screenings for El Pasoans and will now offer the services to people ages 18 and above who don’t have private medical insurance.

The services will as usual is completely free to residents of El Paso and Hudspeth County who are 18 and over and do not have medical insurance or are on Medicaid. The free services include: free blood pressure and glucose screenings, colorectal screening kits, including influenza and pneumonia vaccines. The two expanded December clinics are as follows:

  • Tuesday Dec. 15: EPFD Community Center, 5415 Trowbridge Dr., 1-4 p.m.
  • Saturday Dec. 19: Station 4, 1218 Randolph Dr., 8-11 a.m.

EPFD is encouraging residents who meet these guidelines to take advantage of the two clinics. For more information, citizens are encouraged to call 311 or visit ephealth.com.
