Dick’s Sporting Goods opens in El Paso this weekend with a three-day grand opening that includes an in-store appearance by NFL Hall of Famer Tony Dorsett. The former Dallas Cowboy great, who played for the 'Boys from 1977-1987, was elected to both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame in 1994.

This Saturday, September 21, he’ll be signing autographs at the retailer's new location at The Fountains of Farah from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. According to their website, 450 wristbands will be distributed at the store on Saturday on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 8 a.m. You must have a wristband to receive an autograph. Dick’s Sporting Goods is one of three stores openings its doors this week. Best Buy and Stein Mart are the other two.
