Target and Dick's Sporting Goods is now joining Walmart by closing its stores on Thanksgiving Day, due to the ongoing pandemic.

Just like everything else this year, Black Friday is getting canceled as both Target and Dick's Sporting Goods now join Walmart by closing its doors to bargain hunters on Thanksgiving.

Just last week Walmart made the announcement that it was planning on closing for the holiday and have employees instead spend the extra time with family.

In Monday’s press release Target said they were, “Closing our stores on Thanksgiving Day. When we say you can take advantage of great deals all season long, we really mean it. So kick back, relax and enjoy a long nap after you finish that last piece of Thanksgiving turkey. This season, you can count on getting extra-big savings without the extra-long lines, with plenty of opportunities to score the best deals on the hottest items both before and after November 26.” To read the full release - Click HERE

While the tradition of scoring major deals on Black Friday won’t be the same this year – shoppers will be able to find major deals online when Target begins offering its holiday deals online and in stores starting in October.
