The monthly event organized by the Downtown Management District kicked off in July with two goals in mind: showcasing the area’s culture and bringing more people downtown. By all indications, it’s mission accomplished. The two-day celebration has been a hit, drawing good crowds and good reviews from attendees.

Fiesta de las Luces takes place under the lights of the Paseo de Las Luces, or Walk of Lights, which is stringed with white lights overhead that span the width of the historic corridor.

Saturday evening will be more of a party night with several local bands performing for your dancing and listening pleasure, food trucks, adult beverages, and local art vendors. The Sunday afternoon edition is more about family and culture with a car show, and entertainment provided by mariachi and folklorico groups.
