Two men were taken into custody after a shooting incident that ended in the death of Shedrick Duffey, 22. The two men are a father and son who live in the neighborhood where the argument happened.

Neighbors tell KFOX14 that people were heard arguing with Duffey around 8:45 on Friday night in the 2000 block of Pueblo Nuevo when they heard something being broken and then gunshots. It is believed that Duffey was shot as he was leaving the home of the mother of his 2-year-old son.

When police got to the scene, Duffey was found with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was later pronounced dead at Del Sol Hospital. El Paso Police say Duffey was told to move his car from where he had parked it near the neighbor's house. A family member of Duffey's child's mother said the neighbors were angry about where he had parked, so, "They got a gun and shot him."

The father and son were questioned by police this weekend, but were released. There is no word as to why they were released. No official arrest has been made, or charges filed against the two, or anyone else in this incident. The incident remains under investigation.
