Movie night fun at Movie Nite on the Lawn continues at the Fountains at Farah this weekend. The "Harry Potter" spinoff "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is the featured presentation this Saturday, Oct. 12.

Non-Potter Nerds and Muggles should note the movie is based off one of Harry's textbooks from Hogwarts. It's in the same magical universe, but takes place in a different place, New York City, about 70 years before Harry.

In the movie, Eddie Redmayne plays the book's author, Newt Scamander. He's a wizard from the 1920s who comes to America with a magical zoo hidden in his suitcase. Unfortunately, a non-magic user gets his hands on the suitcase and accidentally releases a lot of the fantastic beasts, which Scamander then has to find.

The free to see movie will get underway at around 7:30 p.m. on the festival lawn located on the lower section. Don’t worry about stuff to snack on; Jason's Deli will be on-site selling some of the yummy food they specialize in. Or you can visit one of many restaurants that call the Fountains home before or after the movie.

You're more than welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on. Wizard wand optional.
