EP Share the Emoji You Feel Over Facebook’s Rebrand & Name Change
Some people don't mind change while others do to a certain extent. I guess it all depends on what kind of change we're talking about. For example, if you've seen the show Bar Rescue you have seen bar owners struggle with the idea of changing their original bar name.
Shoot, I felt the exact same way years ago when a certain hotel in El Paso changed its original name. Before becoming Hotel Paso Del Norte the hotel was known as Camino Real Hotel.
When the hotel changed its name I felt like I said goodbye to some past StreetFest memories. Over time I managed to get comfortable with Hotel Paso Del Norte.
But soon we will have to learn the new name and get used to it. Looks like we may soon see a change occur involving Facebook's original name. It seems that Facebook is planning to do a rebrand by giving the company a new name.
But the worst thing about people or places changing their name after so many years will take a while to get used to. I already know when Facebook changes its name I will still refer to it as Facebook.
Facebook will be hiring 10,000 people in Europe to help build metaverse. For those that don't know, the metaverse is a virtual reality space you and your friends can interact with a computer-generated environment along with other users.
You can get an idea of what Mark Zuckerberg is aiming for exactly by checking out Nutshell's YouTube video above. Mark Zuckerberg sees metaverse as the next generation of the internet. It is pretty brave of Mark Zuckerberg to try and bring the internet to life.
So instead of just looking at a screen, you can actually live whatever it is you're seeing. So while you're in your house bored to death the metaverse can be your escape to another place without leaving home.
Just like the gaming world, how Fortnite players can be a part of a virtual concert. The name change is expected to happen this week which a lot of us are clueless about the new name.
