Enjoy Friday Night Golfing Now Through The Fall at Ascarate Park

Take a swing every Friday night under the lights at Ascarate's Golf Course with evening golf for all to enjoy.

Beginning today, Friday, June 3, through September, El Pasoans can enjoy a few rounds of golf during Friday Nights Under The Lights at Ascarate Park's open golf course.

Spanning over 400 acres, Ascarate Park is the city’s largest public-use recreational park that offers various outdoor activities. Visitors will find softball and baseball fields, two soccer fields, playgrounds, tennis courts, and an Aquatic Center that features one of the few Olympic-size competition pools in the city and a 48-acre surface lake with a boardwalk, canoes, and pedal boat rentals.  

Apart from its many recreational activities, Asacarate Park also offers an 18-hole, 72 par golf course and a 9-hole executive course called the Delta 9. 

Golf enthusiasts can plan to bring their A-game to the golf course as Friday night golfing is now open to the public through September.

El Paso's weather is perfect for days spent at the golf course, but with the current triple-digit heat, here is a chance to take a swing at night golfing to avoid heatstroke and the overwhelming brutal daytime heat.

Apart from avoiding the brutal heat, night golfing will also allow players to take in El Paso's famous sunsets while driving down the range during their game.

Whether you are an avid golfer or want to try something new and different, Asacarte Park's golf course opens tonight for a fun night out with family or friends every Friday Night,

The driving range will open from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., and attendees can use their golf clubs or rent them at the pro shop at Ascarate Golf Course.
