A lot of families in El Paso were stoked to see Jurassic World: Dominion when it premiered. Now El Paso is about to have some special visitors from the land of the Jurassic Empire.

If you don't remember Jurassic Empire came through after the pandemic wiped out all fun social activities. If you had a kid at the start of 2020 then you know the struggle I am referring to.

After having my daughter Izzy at the start of 2020, she didn't really get to experience her firsts. For example, she didn't get to enjoy an Easter egg hunt due to social distancing.

But luckily, in 2021 El Paso learned how to adapt and find a way to enjoy fun activities while staying safe. Of course, we can't forget the fond dinosaurs that visited the borderland last summer that you got to drive around.

This definitely had me thrilled since it was something fun and safe to do that my daughter would enjoy. Last year Jurassic Empire had set up at Sunland Park Mall's parking lot near the food court entrance side.

It was really cool to show my daughter the different dinosaurs that looked so realistic. Last year it was a drive-thru since we still had limitations on activities due to the pandemic.

But not this year, Jurassic Empire will not be setting up the dinosaurs outside this time around. Instead, you will be able to enjoy a walk-through indoors at the El Paso County Coliseum.

The Jurassic Empire will be stopping by the borderland on July 9 and July 10. They have different time slots for you to choose from and also ask for the last showing you arrive no later than 7:30 pm. Feel free to scroll below to get an idea of what some of the dinosaurs you can expect to see next month.
