The El Paso YWCA is extending its child care services due to the delay of schools reopening.

The YWCA El Paso del Norte Region is extending its child care services by continuing to offer full-time care for students up to age 12.

As school openings are delayed due to the ongoing novel coronavirus the City of El Paso’s health order is not allowing face-to-face instruction in person until after Labor Day which may offset parents and their work schedules.

During the pandemic, families who haven't had the option of staying home to care and teach their children are being faced with a real problem and the YWCA has been vital in assisting El Paso families during this difficult time.

The YWCA will continue to follow CDC, state, city, and all other guidelines regarding social distancing, reduced ratios, masks, and more to provide a safe environment including that all YWCA Educational Programs team members and students wear masks while on-premises.

If your child cannot physically be onsite - the YWCA Academies are equipped with WiFi and instructors and tutors are available to assist students with distance learning.

For more details on how to enroll your child or other programs, contact YWCA at 915-519-0000.
