El Paso Skyline Featured in Trailer for New Brad Pitt Movie

The full-length trailer for the new Brad Pitt movie ‘The Counselor‘ is now online, and the El Paso skyline is prominently featured in one scene. Although the movie was almost entirely filmed in Spain, "pick-up" shots of our city were filmed in late January/early February. Some of that footage will be used in between scenes or while someone off camera is talking.

A photo of Brad Pitt holding a copy of the El Paso Times was posted on Yahoo! Movies last August, but no information on why he was holding the newspaper was offered so it’s not clear if it had anything to do with the movie. The movie, about a lawyer who finds himself over his head after he gets involved with Pitt’s drug trafficking character, hits theaters on October 25.
