Bullying is a huge problem in this country, and has even had deadly consequences here in El Paso. A young girl who was allegedly being bullied online, took her own life just a couple of weeks ago.
The rising incidence of bullying has City leaders attention, and they are holding a workshop for parents and kids to try and put a stop to bullying.

The free Bully Prevention Workshop will be held Wednesday and Thursday, January 29 and 30. It will include a movie, “Bully”, a documentary about five families who are dealing with the effects of bullying.

“Kids will be kids”, isn’t an excuse for bullying, and online bullying is causing more and more kids to make the horrifying choice to end their lives to escape it. It’s up to us parents to show them that bullying in any form is wrong.
