Did you forget or neglect to pay a traffic ticket and now it’s turned into a warrant? If you are one of the more than 115,000 whose name appeared in the El Paso Times and El Diario then you have an active warrant out for your arrest, and you’ll want to take care of it sooner than later.

The El Paso Police Department will begin conducting warrants roundups soon and anyone on the list who hasn’t had their warrant recalled by paying the fine/fines in full risks a visit from El Paso’s Finest that will end with you doing the perp walk.

The list published in the two newspapers is made up of El Pasoans with warrants for Class C misdemeanors, which includes traffic tickets and city ordinance violations. The money collected goes to the city's General Fund to help pay for street repairs and parks.

Check to see if you’re a wanted man (or woman) by visiting the Municipal Courts active warrants search page. If there is a warrant for your arrest, you have the option of paying it off online or in person at one of the five Municipal Courts listed at the bottom of the linked page.
