El Paso Man Among Possible Future Husbands for New ‘Bachelorette’
An El Paso man is among the revised list of possible suitors that have been rounded up for Clare Crawley on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette.
ABC revealed the 42 finalists waiting for the shot at finding their future wife on a dating show on Wednesday (7/15). Among “the men who may be on this season” is a 28-year-old from El Paso only identified as Alex.
From what I’ve gathered perusing various sites that specialize in entertainment news, the network is only providing first names and hometowns right now because they’re only potential contestants and haven’t officially been cast yet. The Bachelorette is typically wooed by 25 to 30 relationship-hungry partners.
However, I've since learned the guy's full name is Alex Brusiloff. He's a Coronado High grad, was on the school's golf team, attended UTEP for a while, and currently lives in Dallas where he works as an insurance broker.
Because of the pandemic, this year's run for the rose won't be like any season of past. For starters, everyone is quarantining at a resort hotel near Palm Springs and living in what is referred to as "a bubble," so if Alex does make it onto the show he won't be taking Clare on any Fox Plaza swap meet dates or on a romantic candlelight dinner at Chico’s Tacos because there won’t be any hometown dates this season.
No word on when ABC plans to announce if the Sun City Hunk will be one of many vying for the heart of their one true love or when Season 16 will premiere, but it will likely air in the fall.
