The El Paso Chihuahuas, El Paso Locomotive FC, and FC Juarez Bravos reveal a plan to unify our border while helping to raise money for El Pasoans Fighting Hunger during the coronavirus pandemic.

The three professional sports teams in our area – El Paso Chihuahuas, El Paso Locomotive FC, and FC Juarez Bravos will be unifying in solidarity between El Paso, TX, and Cd. Juarez by turning on their respective stadium lights and video boards as a symbolic gesture and displaying messages of support and hope on Wednesday, April 29, and Wednesday, May 6, 2020, from 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Messages of strength, courage, and unity will be displayed on the videoboards from both Southwest University Park and Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez in both English and Spanish. Fans can also watch online on each teams’ Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram social media sites.

Along with the unified messaging, the El Paso Chihuahuas, Locomotive, and Bravos will be encouraging fans to donate to the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank to help those families directly impacted by COVID-19.

For each donation made, the Foster Family Foundation & Hunt Family Foundation, via the MountainStar Sports Group Foundation, will match each dollar donated up to $1 million to assist our local Food Bank.

To join in - Fans can wear their respective teams’ jerseys to show support for the effort by using the hashtags #StaySafeAtHome and #UnitedWeAreOne when posting on social media.
