There are several West El Paso closures this week related to the GO10 project that will affect your commute. One in particular will impact your drive for several weeks.

Paisano Drive will close completely for approximately 300 feet at Sunland Park Drive starting at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15 and will remain closed 24/7 through Sunday, Feb. 11 so that TxDot crews can reconstruct a section of Paisano.

As a result, Sunland Park Drive will be reduced to two lanes from Constitution Drive to the Paisano intersection.

Per TxDot, motorists who normally use Paisano to enter I-10 East should plan to use an alternate entrance ramp, such as the Sunland Park flyover ramp or the Executive Center Blvd ramp.

Motorists on Sunland Park Drive who are coming from Doniphan will be able to turn right onto Paisano via the use of a new, temporary dedicated right-turn lane.
