Eastlake Cracker Barrel Is (Finally) Opening – December Date Set
The wait is (almost) over.
El Pasoans who have been waiting for the Cracker Barrel in Eastlake to start serving up the eats are going to get an early Christmas present.
After various delays, the newest location finally gets an official opening date – and this opening date is set in stone.
Why Has It Taken So Long?
Construction and permitting delays were the reasons why it didn’t open this spring as originally announced, according to Cracker Barrel Media Relations. The expectation was the issues would be taken care of and the restaurant would be good to go over the summer.
That didn’t work out either.
So, When Is It Opening?
According to Cracker Barrel Media Relations, the official public opening date is Monday, December 5. The doors will open at 7 a.m.
The new 10,000-plus square-foot restaurant, including the Old Country Store and widely recognized front porch with rockers, will accommodate 170 hungry guests.
Known for its brand of home-style comfort food like Southern fried chicken, meatloaf, Country Fried Steak, and the Old Timer’s Breakfast, the newest Cracker Barrel is located in the Eastlake Marketplace off Interstate 10 and Eastlake Boulevard.
It's expected to operate Sunday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
