For the last couple of years, the El Paso Downtown Management District has been hosting walking tours of downtown apartment buildings, but this year they are shifting focus to the downtown hotel properties.

The Downtown Hotel Tour is a walking tour of downtown hotels that will give you a chance to see the newest hotels up close and sample a variety of downtown food options. I shot the video above when one of the hotels on the tour, the Aloft, was first opened to the public. It is a gorgeous renovation of the O.T. Bassett Tower.

The Downtown Hotel Tour will feature seven amazing hotels:

Aloft El Paso - 303 Texas Ave.
Stanton House - 209 N. Stanton St.
Gardner Hotel - 311 E. Franklin Ave.
Holiday Inn Express - 409 E. Missouri Ave.
Courtyard by Marriott El Paso Downtown/Convention Center - 610 N. Santa Fe St.
Hotel Indigo - 325 N Kansas St.

You can get Early Bird tickets for the tour for $15 now through March 30th. Tickets go up to $20 starting April 1st. You can pick up your tickets before starting the tour.

There are three options for ticket pick up:

From April 1st – 5th, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the DMD Offices (201 E. Main, Suite 107)
On Friday, April 5th from 4 - 8 p.m. at Aloft El Paso Downtown (303 Texas Avenue)
On Friday, April 6th between 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at one of two locations (The District Coffee Co., 222 Texas Avenue, OR Brew Lab, 601 N. Oregon Street).
