El Paso County Hosting Movie Night at Canutillo Park Saturday

Get your lawn chairs out of storage and fish your comfiest picnic blankets out of the closet because it's outdoor movie time at Gallegos Park in Canutillo

El Paso County Parks is hosting a free outdoor showing of Moana this Saturday, July 20, as part of its Parks After Sunset free movie series. County residents can do the fam thing around the glow of an inflatable jumbo screen while kicking back under the stars for a special screening of the Disney classic

Event activities will include a water jumping balloon for the kids to cool off in, so don’t forget the swimsuits and towels.

A number of food trucks will be on site serving up their specialties according to the event post, but if grub-on-wheels isn't your thing, you're welcome to bring your own food and snacks along with blankets and lawn chairs. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, however, are not permitted.

The free family fun at Gallegos Park will start at 6:30 p.m. and the movie just after sundown; approximately 8:30 p.m. Date is weather permitting and subject to cancellation. For timely updates, visit El Paso County Parks Facebook.
