El Paso Chihuahuas Celebrates 4 Millionth Fan After 9 Seasons
During the ninth season of El Paso Chihuahuas, a ten-year-old fan has become the four millionth fan to attend a game at Southwest University Park.
Time flies when you're having fun! Can you believe it's been nine years since the El Paso Chihuahuas held their first game at Southwest University Park in downtown El Paso?
Throughout the nine baseball seasons, the El Paso Chihuahuas have kept track of their attendance marking every millionth guest milestone.
El Paso Chihuahuas Past Millionth-Fan Club Fans Includes:
- Severo Barreras - Became the first 1-millionth fan on August 1, 2015
- Jerry Sheppard - Became the 2-millionth fan on June 29, 2017
- Melissa Guillen - Became the 3-millionth fan on June 14, 2019
Nine seasons later, the El Paso Chihuahuas are celebrating their 4-millionth guest, a young 10-year-old fan named Ethan Entry, who attended the baseball game with his parents, Eugene and Sarah, and sister Alyssa.
On Saturday, July 16, 2022, Entry became the 4-millionth fan crossing the gates at Southwest University Park, setting off sirens, and was greeted by Chico The Chihuahua, gameday staff, and ushered over to take part in the ceremonial festivities.
As Ethan became part of the elite millionth-fan club, he received a prize pack that included a Chihuahuas swag bag with all sorts of Chihuahuas merch, tickets to a future game, meal vouchers, and WestStar Club passes.
Ethan and his sister Alyssa also joined Tim Hagerty on air during the third inning, received a ballpark tour, and got a chance to announce the Chihuahuas batters during the fourth inning.
It turns out that Ethan was a lucky omen as the El Paso Chihuahuas took on Round Rock Saturday night and won, making it the team's third win in a row, all with seven runs.
Congrats to Ethan on becoming the 4-millionth fan to attend an El Paso Chihuahuas game that will become a core memory that will last a lifetime for the entire Entry family.
Join the El Paso Chihuahuas for their last home game of the month tonight, Sunday, July 17, 2022. For more details and single-game tickets, visit milb.com/el-paso/tickets.
