New year, new parking lot. Same goal: "to unite foodies in one place to celebrate local street food."

This year the monthly Eat the Street food truck rallies are taking place at Sunland Park Mall. Several of the most popular, Facebook-stalked food trucks will converge on the mall parking lot again this Saturday, April 20, for an evening of music, drink, and, of course, some of the best grub-on-the-go El Paso has to offer.

Between all the food trucks and vendors that are going to be there, you know there’s going to be something for everyone’s palette.

Cuisine options will run the gamut from BBQ to hamburgers to tacos, elotes and sweet treats. What I'm trying to say is, if you're going to go, go hungry!

Radio Altivo Band will be providing the live music, while DJ Sol-B will man the wheels of steel in between their sets. A “Kidz Zone” with a mechanical bull, train rides, and an exotic animal exhibition by Ark Exotics will also be part of the mix, according to the event page.

The food truck and street food rally will go down one Saturday a month through July.
