Eastwood High School is going to be giving back to the community, and if you'd like to help, you can drop by their Food Drive and Health Fair today at 4 p.m. at the school cafeteria.

The school is putting on the drive to collect enough food supplies to benefit 200 families within the Eastwood Learning Community. They are working with the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank, their local Communities in Schools program, the PTSA, and Student Council to help those in need.

You can speak with medical agencies and vendors during the health fair.

It's great to see students take an active role in their community and realize that they can do something to help. Any donation to the food drive would be appreciated, but please keep donations to non-perishable food items.

WHAT: Community food drive and health fair
WHEN: 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 10
