In the early morning hours of January 23, Antonio Martin was in the parking lot of the Terrace Hill Apartments when he got into an argument with another man. The situation escalated and the unidentified man, who was in a car reversed his vehicle and ran over Martin. Martin stood up and then the man reversed his vehicle again and ran over Martin a second time.

The El Paso Police say they are now looking to the public to find the man who then fled the scene.

Martin's wife, Vanessa Cordova, said she got a call from her sister-in-law around 1 a.m. who told her about the incident, but because she has chilren, she couldn't leave and go to her husband. She said she was in shock and didn't know what to do.

Martin was rushed to the hospital and suffered serious head injuries as well as serious injuries to his legs. Cordova said Martin has not been able to walk since the accident and suffered internal bleeding in his head and bruising to his brain.

Martin told police that his attacker was a Hispanic man between 18 and 25 years old with short dark hair and drove a black 2015-2016 Challenger. Martin's wife said the third time the driver went forward, he crashed the vehicle so it's possible that the vehicle could have damage in the front and the right-hand side.

Police have not made any arrests and are asking anyone with information to come forward. If you have any information, call (915) 212-4000 and ask to speak to a detective.
