Did Selena’s Killer Pass Away?

Lupe Ontiveros, the actress who portrayed Yolanda Saldivar, the convicted murderer of Tejano singer Selena in the 1997 movie, 'Selena", passed away yesterday of liver cancer at the age of 69. Lupe, born Guadalupe Moreno in El Paso, Texas, graduated from El Paso High School. Don't say you heard it from me but, did you know that after the movie about the life of Selena came out, Lupe was often verbally accosted by people who actually thought she was the real Yolanda Saldivar. The real Yolanda Saldivar is serving a life sentence in Gatesville, Texas.
