Las Cruces Police are continuing to investigate a shooting Saturday morning that left a 20-year-old man hospitalized.

Shortly after 3 a.m. Las Cruces Police were called to reports of shots fired at a home on the 2200 block of Don Roser. Officers arrived to find a 20-year-old man suffering from one gunshot wound. The 20-year-old was then airlifted in critical condition to UMC in El Paso. There was a party at the residence and several individuals were involved in a fight at around 3 a.m. That’s when someone opened fire shooting the man.

The suspect is still at large and Crime Stoppers of Las Cruces is asking for any help and information leading to an arrest. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps identify the person or persons responsible for this shooting.
